Wooster Hospitality Partners is a group of independent entrepreneurs dedicated
to providing the finest in dining, accommodations, and entertainment within the
City of Wooster.
Each of the Partners is dedicated to presenting the best of what Wooster has
to offer. Working together, the Partners provide amenities and experiences that
are not duplicated by large corporate chains that focus on a single experience
regardless of location. Each of the partners is a locally owned and operated
enterprise headed by individuals who are passionate about what they do.

South Market Bistro-
Chef-Owner Michael Mariola, along with his wife Emily Moorefield,
pioneered sustainable cuisine long before the movement’s current popularity when the Wooster
natives opened the Bistro in 2002. Menus are crafted around each season’s
freshest, locally produced ingredients. Meals are enjoyed in a restored,
turn-of-the-century building just south of the town square.

City Square Steakhouse-
Also operated by Chef Michael Mariola the Steakhouse opened
in 2008 directly across the street from the Bistro
in the former Germania Building. Featuring
an elegant bar, spacious patio, intimate dining rooms and private party
accommodations, The City Square Steakhouse specializes
in hand-cut, aged USDA Choice & Prime
steaks, fresh seafood and comforting house-made sides. The traditional
Chicago-style steakhouse menu also offers appetizers,
pastas, soups and salads.

SoMar Wine Cellars-
An exciting addition to downtown Wooster, SoMar offers wine and beers and by
the glass in the cozy lounge or on the new patio. SoMar has become the place
where friends gather and new friends are made. The knowledgeable staff led
by Stephe Rouseau, is available to guide and educate guests. SoMar is just
a block south of the South Market Bistro and City Square Steakhouse.

The Wooster Inn-
The Wooster Inn is located on the eastern edge of the campus of The College of
Wooster. Opened in 1959, the Inn now operates independently while in partnership
with the College. The Inn offers fine dining in a beautiful setting overlooking
the college golf course. The Pub at The Wooster Inn offers a casual dining
alternative with a full array of draft beers, fine wines, and premium liquor.
Warmer weather brings yet another dining venue with a beautiful flagstone
patio and another larger tented patio that hosts events for up to 250 guests.
The Inn specializes in hosting and planning large events.
The Inn also has 15 guest rooms offering quiet, gracious accommodations. Rooms
have been updated while respecting the historic qualities of the building. Amenities
include on-site dining, wireless internet, flat screen televisions, in room coffee
maker, and complimentary continental breakfast.

The Market Street Inn-
This historic, beautifully restored home serves as a Bed and Breakfast with five
newly updated guest rooms. Located just north of the center of town, at 356
North Market Street, it is a short walk to downtown shops and restaurants.
Guests will enjoy a full gourmet breakfast accompanied by homemade granola
and pastries, and fresh fruit. An intimate event space is available to host
breakfast and lunch business and community meetings. Your hosts, Jayne and
Allen Churchmack, are new to the Wooster community but have quickly immersed
themselves into all that the city has to offer.

The Ohio Light Opera-
Ohio’s Premier Summer Festival of Great Music,Comedy & Drama
The Ohio Light Opera was founded in 1979 as a cultural
and educational endeavor by The College of Wooster. It
is the only professional company in the United
States devoted entirely to operetta in addition to musical theater and early
Broadway shows, performing not only the complete Gilbert & Sullivan repertoire,
but also reviving rarely performed American and European works of the 19th
and early 20th centuries. Educationally, the company offers young, talented
vocalists,
instrumentalists, and technicians the opportunity to perform in a professional
setting. Over the years, The Ohio Light Opera has produced 106 different show
titles. It has established an enviable reputation for its contributions to
lyrical theater in America and has helped to make Wooster a summer destination
for people
locally and nationally.

SoMar Fitness 24- (opening June
2010)
SoMar Fitness offers members full 24 hours access with equipment spread over
two floors to provide a balanced workout for every muscle group. The facility
also offers scheduled fitness classes and massage by appointment. The summer
months offer a roof-top sun deck and juice bar as a reward for a time well spent.
SoMar Fitness 24 is also offered as amenity to guests of The Wooster Inn and
South Market Inn. The fitness center will be connected to the second floor of
the St. Paul Hotel.

St. Paul Hotel- (opening March 2011)
Once upon a time there was a hotel at the corner of South
Market and South Streets in downtown Wooster, Ohio.
Beginning in March 2011 a new boutique hotel will
again grace that space. The St. Paul Hotel will offer ten guest rooms with
four different configurations. This concierge service hotel will offer
marble
baths with heated floors and walk-in showers as well as décor and
linens not offered anywhere else in the area. Other amenities include: an
on-site meeting room, complimentary breakfast, wireless internet, room service
provided by South Market Bistro & City Square Steak House, direct access
to SoMar Fitness 24, and a relaxing patio that connects to SoMar Wine Cellars.
The St. Paul’s prime location puts guests right in the center of
town and all that it has to offer. |
